"MODIFICATIONS" zine

"MODIFICATIONS" is my industrial design thesis, exploring the intricacies of how people modify their possessions. In this publication, I present my "Modification Classification System" and illustrate 13 different methods of modifying everyday items using 13 BIC lighters.

My goal for this project was to inspire readers to alter their belongings, fostering a stronger connection with them. By encouraging modifications, I hope to promote a mindset of reducing consumption and rethinking the need to buy new things.

The zine was created mostly using analog methods inspired by anarchist zine culture.
